Ask Paul’s parents, and they will tell you Paul was destined to be a performer. As a child he grabbed his toy guitar and performed Beatles songs for them on a makeshift stage; as a teenager he gained local notoriety for his uncanny ability to emulate Michael Jackson down to the smallest nuances of his performance; and when he ultimately left his Sacramento home to attend the University of California, Irvine as a drama major, his fate was sealed.
After college, Paul moved north towards the bright lights of Hollywood, where his interests in the entertainment industry continued to grow and evolve, the one thing that hasn’t changed however is Paul’s devoted passion to the performing arts. He has built a life working in the industry, and has been seen in film, television, music videos, local theater and his modeling work has appeared online and in national publications.
A member of SAG and AFTRA for over twenty years, appeared on stage, screen, TV and radio in Boston, New York, and Los Angeles. Comedy background with the improvisational comedy troupe, “The Laughing Stock” in Boston; writer/performer on early Nickelodeon television series “Livewire;” In recent years worked with Second City alum as a writer/perfomer on the resurrected National Lampoon Players live comedy group.
Behind the scenes, worked seven years in post production on the CBS series “Rescue:911,” four years on “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous,” and one truncated season on “Candid Camera.” Former newspaper reporter with the Lawrence (MA) Eagle-Tribune. Lehigh University (Bethlehem, PA) graduate with BA in journalism.
Somewhere between listening to a ga-zillion campfire stories and moving from her birthplace in Korea to the U.S. when she was two, Jane birthed the dream of telling stories through writing, acting, and interpretive movement.
Jane Park Smith believes each gift and talent is created within for the purpose of serving and uplifting others. Formerly an internationally recognized TV news reporter, Jane has parlayed that experience into a dynamic career as an accomplished actress, model, speaker, and entertainer. Jane’s modeling work is seen worldwide in hundreds of print ads for companies including Tupperware, The Ritz Carlton, Marriott Hotels, and on magazine covers, including Martial Arts World and Create. She has acted in over 10 films and numerous national commercials.
