Growing up in the rural Midwest, Andrew Lemon surrounded himself with the visual arts. From pen and ink illustration to teaching himself photography he searched for a medium of expression. That search ended the day he discovered film making. As a perfect blend of art and science, cinematography has allowed Andrew to tell stories with mood and emotion using light and lens as his paintbrush.

As a life-long student of image making, Lemon studied graphic design, painting and photography. However, it was through high definition technology that he has been instrumental in projects with such directors as Peter Gilbert, Spike Jonze, Rodrigo Garcia and Marcus Nispel.

Currently Lemon is again embracing art and technology by moving forward into stereo 3D cinematography but all the while keeping an eye on images of the past.
